The actual schedule will vary some from this. So, if you're interested
in hosting,
contact your district Rotary representative to get your district
schedule.
AUGUST/
SEPTEMBER

Welcome inbounds; orient when all arrive
Contact schools for inbound registration
|
OCTOBER
|
Counselor and student to continue communicating frequently
during adjustment period and possible home sickness
|
NOVEMBER/
DECEMBER
|
Inbounders move to second host family (normally 3 to
4 months each with 4 or 3 families)
|
JANUARY
|
Southern Hemisphere inbound arrivals and orientation
Interview, select and orient host families
|
FEBRUARY
|
Attend SCRYE conference
|
MARCH/
JUNE
|
As inbound applications arrive, place in clubs
Letter of acceptance to those inbounds
SCRYE trip for inbounds
|
JUNE/JULY
|
Rebound orientation, debrief and goodby to departing
inbounds
Evaluation of year's program: host families, schools
and students
