Here is a general schedule
The actual schedule will vary some from
this. So, if you're an inbound Exchangee,
contact your district Rotary representative to get your district
schedule.
AUGUST/
SEPTEMBER |
Welcome inbounds; orient when all arrive
Contact schools for inbound registration |
| OCTOBER |
Counselor and student to continue
communicating frequently during adjustment period and possible home
sickness |
NOVEMBER/
DECEMBER |
Inbounders move to second host family
(normally 3 to 4 months each with 4 or 3 families) |
| JANUARY |
Southern Hemisphere inbound arrivals and
orientation Interview, select and
orient host families |
| FEBRUARY |
Attend SCRYE conference |
MARCH/
JUNE |
As inbound applications arrive, place in
clubs Letter of acceptance to those
inbounds
SCRYE trip for inbounds |
| JUNE/JULY |
Rebound orientation, debrief and goodby
to departing inbounds
Evaluation of year's program: host
families, schools and students |
